MEET COURTNEY
I’m Courtney and I find joy in the simple and ordinary things of life because they inspire me to create. Being a creative person, I have many outlets I am passionate about including: design, hand lettering, and photography. I have even dabbled in wood burning! Some may say that I am a jack of all trades, but I’ll leave that up to your discretion. My goal is to create an experience or piece just for you that fits your desires and needs.
I believe that each and every person on this earth is valuable and I want YOU to know, believe, and express that. It is absolutely incredible to think that there is only ONE YOU in this world. so BE YOU! I am on a mission to personalize your life with either a handmade creation that screams you or by capturing your personality through my lens. With this photo session or hand created piece, I want you to know and believe just how loved and worthy you are. My goal is to make you to feel known.

MY IDENTITY
Now let’s get this straight, my identity is not a designer, photographer or a creative… SAY WHAT? Yeah, that’s right, I went there. My identity is not defined by what the world says about me or my capabilities, but by what my creator says about me. He says that I am his child, his daughter, and a precious princess. He says that I am valuable, known, and loved. That is my identity. My hope is that you can find your identity in him too.
Being a child of God, I strive to live each day for my creator who created me to be a creator. How cool is that? He is the one who daily inspires me with way he paints across the sky each morning and evening when the sun rises and sets. I firmly believe that I have a purpose in this world and that purpose is to use the talents God has given me to serve others and share with them the freedom of knowing your worth.
MY PERSON
This right here is my favorite person! His name is Austin and he is my encouraging and thoughtful husband. Austin is the most inviting and warm person I know. He has a way of making people around him feel comfortable and valued. I know that this is Jesus shining through him. He is the man of my dreams who is extremely supportive of everything I do. He probably knows me better than I know myself and he is always pointing me to Jesus! You know he’s the best when he brings you coffee in the morning and dark chocolate in the evening.
Austin and I recently got married and feel so very blessed to do life together! Being newly weds is full of adventure and learning new things! We learned a whole lot on our honeymoon alone! We are definitely not experts at this marriage thing, but we like it a whole lot.
MY HOBBIES
- Laughing is my all time favorite thing to do. It is so incredible that our bodies cannot contain the joy inside so we can’t help but explode with laughter.
- Bodies of water are the best! Whether it is the ocean, a river, or a pool I find so much peace and beauty in water.
- I was a swimmer for nearly 12 years and swam collegiately for Concordia University Irvine.
- If I am not creating, I am singing, especially worship music.
- I taught myself how to play guitar one summer during college and a couple years later my worship leader felt let by the Lord to give me his first ever guitar so that I could start leading worship with it!
- Another favorite thing I love is being outdoors, witnessing God’s beautiful creation.
- I long to be a mommy someday and raise my kiddos with a knowledge of their value and worth through Christ.
